Shakedown Elsenborn – Nidrum (Bütgenbach)
The Shakedown will start on Thursday 26 September at 5pm and will end +/- at 10pm. During this test session, the competitors of the East Belgian Rally will be able to set up their car for Saturday’s event on a varied 3.8 km track.
The spectator point (1) is located in the village NIDRUM.
At this point there are optimal parking possibilities and a lot of space for the spectators.
The service areas (1.2.3) for the participants are located in Elsenborn.
The spectators are allowed to enter this 3 places and watch the teams optimizing their cars.
Important notes:
On the map, you can see the areas that are accessible to spectators (blue sign with pedestrian).
For safety reasons, you cannot access the other areas (no pedestrians allowed sign).
At the end of the FF (Flying Finish) course, the access path is much too narrow and closed to vehicles.
You can, however, stand on this path as a spectator.
In any case, prefer the large SHOW point to NIDRUM.

Please buy the rally programme on Thursday.
The programme contains all the important information on the rally (timing, participants, information on the drivers, press releases, etc.) as well as all the maps of the Saturday stages with the accessible points, car parks and refreshment points. This programme is on sale at the SHOW point in Nidrum and at the main access points, as well as at Service 1 in Herzebösch.
For your safety
We ask the public to avoid the prohibited areas (see plan) and always stand in the designated safe spectator areas. Please follow the instructions of the stewards and marshals at all times.
Please respect the private property of residents and do not park wildly in front of garage entrances or on private property. It goes without saying that you should also not leave any rubbish along the route. Please use the designated parking spaces and always leave enough room for the emergency vehicles!
This way, this evening will be a great sporting event for everyone, which you should not miss.
